The Upcoming Summer

I hadn’t thought how I will spend my summer yet this year because there are 2 long months of classes before my vacations can start, but I want to see my old friends from the school, we used to get together a lot but after we enter leave it there are only few moments that we can see ourselves all together again, so I hope we can take a vacation in the beach house that one of them has in Constitución, like we made the last summer.

Constitución is a small place but there are always things to do there are a lot of pools that we can go, and especially in the summer are stand up presentations and small concerts in the central square. There is a beach too that’s nice but a little windy. There are much things that we can do, and if we are not in the mood to do something we organize ourselves, go to the town and buy things to do a bbq.

Another thing I would like to do this summer its get a work, doesn’t matter where I just want to make money and don’t have to depend so much in the money of my parents  during  the year, or at least the first part of it, because I will have to buy expensive materials to my studies next year.

So, like I said at the beginning I haven’t made planes to this summer, I just want that will be relaxing.

A Photograph I Like

The photo id chose is not the picture I liker most, but was the most recent photo that I’d take with my Friends: Abril, Franco and Brayan, later an stressing moment. That day we had a very difficult test of anatomy and we just wanted to leave the stress behind, so Abril and me leave the university to find Franco to accompany Abril to buy some things and then Franco came up with the idea of watch “Back to the Future” on his house, because that day was October 21, the day which Marty Mcfly arrived to the “future”. So we bought something to eat and called Brayan if he wants to come with us and one hour later he was in Franco’s house.

Another thing that I like of this photo was the situation and it how all developed, a really good moment starting from nothing, just a good idea and the feeling of doing nothing.

A Skill I Admire

I admire so many abilities from different people, but the one that calls my attention so many times was the parkour skills of some people. Parkour is a sport where you must pass over an obstacle, and you can do anything for that, usually the people jump over the easiest ones but the hardest need more imagination.

The practice of this skill could be really dangerous, because its training must be in the streets and a fall over the concrete it’s very painful, especially when you are climbing a high obstacle. There are always accidents in the trainings so the experts take many precautions and develop abilities to fall its part of the sport.

I have a friend that practices this sport that has received several wounds when he started doing it, most of the time because he overcomes his limits, but with every hit he earn some experience and now he does it very good almost every time and when he falls doesn’t take any injure.

This is not an helpfully skill for the everyday life  it’s more like a hobby , but like every other sport exist professional people that made his hobby in the economic livelihood teaching and attending to competitions. Exist channels of YouTube especially dedicated to parkour videos showing how to do some movements and tips for the beginners. 

Personally I’m not very good making jumps I only do some rookie movements because I don’t have many time to practice, only when my friend invites me to his practices.

My dream job

In this moment I am studying Odontology, but when I was at school I really wasn’t sure which career study. In one side I want to study something related to the health area and by the other side I want to fly airplanes.

I really don’t know with exactitude why I want to be a pilot, just some day out of the blue  this idea pass throw my mind, but since that day I start to gather information about the profession  and watch videos that pilots record with their cameras , especially the acrobatic ones. I even start to play a lot of fly simulators.

If I had chosen that career I will travel to many different countries but I don’t sure if I really will have the time to know all the places where they go.  

Another advantage for me of this job is there is an outdoor job, so is away from any office. I really hate the office job and the paper work, for me it’s a little boring and abstract, it’s not something that you can see the complete result of your work. I know that dentistry have paper work too but it’s not so extensive that others types of jobs had.

I finally made up my mind one week after the PSU and decided to study something related to the health area because have works more independent than the pilot`s, so I take the college to help me to realize what I want to study.

After all I’m very happy with my major, but I will probably take flight courses at the end of it.

My favorite technology.

Thinking about it, the PC could be easily my favorite technological device because of the things you can do in one, but the practically one is my IPad.

The IPads have almost the same uses that I gave to the PC but I can carry it in my backpack to the University and take well defined pictures from the class, my classmates notes or my notes and send it to them in case someone have information that other doesn`t.

Most of the books I had to read are big and heavy, so when I had to take it to my home to study them I have a backache by night, but now I can have it in there and take it where I want with no problems at all. For example, the last Friday I downloaded 5 books in the IPad and then I went to a friend’s house to study, it was very practical.

In conclusion, for me it’s a fast way to do different things like find information on internet or even play games to pass the time when I`m bored.

My favorite holidays

I usually travel with my family on ours vacations. One of my favorite is when we travel to Pucon for an entire month, five years ago.

That was the longest vacation we ever had together and we made so many things. We lodge in a cottage, then a tent, a hostel, and hotel at the end. Almost every day we go to different beaches on the Caburga and Villarrica lake, in every one you can find people that rent kayaks, boat trips by the lakes, and aquatic bikes, so we use to put our own kayak at the lake and my father rent a double kayak for him an my mother and other simple for me or my brother and we go to the front shore of the lake.

Other days we visit some family friends at the other side of the Caburga Lake, we wait for them in the beach at 8 o’clock, they picked up us in their boat, and take us to their camp side. We spent the day water skiing with their boat and swimming with them.

At the next few days they went to visit us and we go to ski at the Villarrica volcano, ride horses, fishing and when it rains we head up to a thermos.

This was probably one of my moved holidays.

What country would I like to visit?

For me there isn`t just one country I’d like to visit, in fact there are at least six countries in my mind right now. In fortune, all of them are close to each other, so, if I’d  have to choose one, that probably will be Italy.

It was once the cultural center of the continent and I’m very impressed whit the remains of the classic technics of arquitecture that old romans develop and take from other civilizations, like the arcs that maintain buildings like the coliseum and the aqueducts on foot to this days. Another thing I’d like to know about its culture is the food from the region of Toscana, not that restaurants can offer and everybody know, I mean the house made food, the classic recipe.

I’d like to be there a year and taste the winter and summer typically food, and at the same time find a place to live the rest of my life. Good food, nice weather, you can visit the rest of Europe by train, for me sounds perfect.
